SUMMARY
Communicative English for Hotel Personnel is designed for students who will need English in dealing directly with clients whether at the reception desk, at the information desk, inthe restaurant or on the telephone. The book covers different situations which students are likely to encounter. The exerciese, which include Language Practice and Communicative Activities, provide the students with ample opportunities for valuable practice. Detailed vocabulary lists and useful expressions are also provided as references.
In the third edition the author has added exercises at the end of the book. These exercises are intended as a review of all the language functions presented, special vocabulary and useful expressions in all units. These will help students to apply their English in the context of hotel work. Some units can be used in pair-work, one partner taking the "teacher's" part, the other the "student's". -- Frompreface of the book
