Interlibrary Loan Service (ILL)

InterLibrary Loan (ILL) is a service that allows users to borrow academic materials such as books, articles, thesis, and other publications from other libraries. This service is available to all Chulalongkorn community: students, lecturers, staff. Includes other libraries in Thailand and overseas as Interlibrary Loan members (register here) through the services “ILL Book Loans” and “Scan on Demand for ILL” (Electronic document) by Chula Library.

Who can use the ILL service?

1. Chula Community (All Students, Lecturers, and Staff) who need to borrow books or publications from Participating University Libraries, please follow the details below:
   
   

   How to make a request
   1.	Search book from “Single Search” https://www.car.chula.ac.th/
   1.	Click "CU+: Search other libraries"
   2.	Click Inter library loan Request and Fill out Interlibrary Loan request form

   
   
2. Interlibrary Loan member (other libraries): for borrowing books or publications from Chula Library at Location: Central Library and Thailand and ASEAN Information Center
   1. “ILL Book Loan” (Printed materials)
   2. “Scan on Demand for ILL” (Electronic Document) provides partial photocopy for Chula Collection, Thailand Collection, Government Collection, and Rare books collection at the location: Thailand and ASEAN Information Center for educational purposes only on the basis of "fair use" as defined by copyrights law.
      
      

      How to make a request Book Loan and Scan on Demand for ILL (Electronic Document)
      1.	Search the book from OPAC > https://library.car.chula.ac.th
      2.	Click the icon ILL Request and Fill out Interlibrary Loan request form
      Service Fee
      Printed material	Delivery fee: Applied the delivery rate of Thailand Post Office. Process fee: 100 baht per request/library: Maximum 3 books.
      Electronic Document	The service fee and electronic document will be sent through your email. Process: 3 - 5 business days to process.
