Asian region during 1975-1978, focusing on fear, disappointment, and the search for new balance of power; and the Indochinese conflict between Kampuchea and Vietnam and between China and Vietnam. Discusses the perception of threat of the Thai leaders from 1979 up to the present, particularly in the past competition between Thailand and North Vietnam; Lao, and Kampuchea.
