This research is to study how to reform the Production of Buddhist Amulets and Using Them as a means for Dhamma practice : a case study of Buddhist amulets of Warongkot Viriyataro at Watputtaprompanyo Chiangmai Province. The research found that the amulets are not credulous or superstitious beliefs that conflict with Buddhist teachings that most people understand, but instead, the amulets concealed with a profound strategy to help convince both Buddha amulet makers and amulets users to practice according to the bases of meritorious action such as merit acquired by giving, moral behavior and mental development. Traditional methods to produce Buddha amulets were often applied with complicate methods, limited numbers, and rarely revealed the methods in public and any guidelines for using amulets to the amulet users clearly. Therefore, general people lack the understanding of the strategy hidden in the amulets and cannot use amulets as a strategy for Dhamma practices completely. Whilst, amulet methods of Warongkot Viriyataro are different from traditional amulets in several ways as such amulets methods, amulets use and amulets dissemination, which help increase the efficiency of the strategy hidden in the Buddha amulets to be able to convince both the creators and users of amulets to have the opportunity to practice the principles of merit easily and completely. According to those differences, no process conflicts with the traditional amulet methods, but it engages with easier methods and a lot saver budget. Therefore, amulets methods of Warongkot Viriyataro are interesting to be applied to reform the amulets methods in the present time to have a more effective strategy to convince both creators and users of amulets to have the opportunity to practice the principles of merit easier and more complete. Actually, there are 3 processes to reform amulets methods: 1. Reform the amulets methods to be more massive for distribution, more available application and more related to the image of Buddhism 2. Reform methods for using amulets to routinely use the Buddha amulets to pray and to disseminate merit 3. Reform the methods of dissemination by adding teaching materials such as leaflets, books and various online media
