The purpose of this thesis was to compare the effectiveness in learning the technical terms in biology, between the first group that knew the keyword method, the second and the third that did not know the keyword method. The second group received the table with keywords, while the third received the table with no keyword. Subjects were the 90 volunteers from Mathayom Suksa 4 of Triam Udom Suksa School in academic year 1975 who were randomly divided into 3 groups, 30 subjects each. All subjects were presented the tables of technical terms in biology which were constructed by the researcher to be learnt for 3 days. The first and second groups of subjects received Table a containing technical terms, keywords, and meanings. The third group received Table b containing only technical terms and meanings. The data were computed to arrive at the means. An analysis of variance was performed and followed by Newman-Keuls Test. The results of the study were as follows: 1. There was no significant difference (at .01 level) among all groups of subjects in learning technical terms in biology. 2. There was significant difference (at .01 level) among the 1st day, the 2nd day, and the 3rd day of the experiment in learning technical terms in biology. 3. There was no significant difference (at .01 level) between the 2nd day and the 3rd day of the experiment in learning technical terms in biology.
