Parents, guardians and teachers should encourage children to read as many Thai children's books as possible. This will assist in promoting their knowledge and understanding of various contents and creating a habit of reading. 2. Librarians of school and public libraries should be well-informed about children's books publishing and distribution. This information will help selecting books for children. Libra- rians may hold varieties of activities to draw children's interests in reading for example : a book-talk contest and Children book exhibition. 3. Children's books for beginning readers should be colorfully illustrated as all children are attracted to the colours. Moreover, the colours help them automatically to remember the stories on the page. 4. The children should be allowed and encouraged to participate in giving their own opinions on the book contests. 5. Researches of similar nature should be done for other Thai award-winning books for children but in different period beyond this study. 6. There should be researches on other book contest events.
