In was found that the self perception of the body image of the obese resulted from comparing themselves with others, leading to their being dissatisfied with their body image. There was a conflict between their real body image and their ideal body image. This resulted in shyness and wanting to hide their real figure. They felt upset and unhappy because they could not have their ideal body image. This feeling affected their social life, finding it hard to socialize with others. The obese should find a way to get rid of this feeling by dealing with their body. Ways to deal with it depend on how the obese feel about their body.
