This special study project aims at generating the business plan of a patent registration service, “Patent To You” brand. This business plan consists of the study of external factors and market competition which affect to the patent registration business. The main objective of the analysis is to identify business strategies which create competitive advantages to achieve superior value creation for the firm. The project accumulates information from various sources such as research papers, internet, and conducting customer research using in-depth interview to initiate a marketing plan, an operation plan, a financial plan and a contingency plan accordingly. According to the study, the target customers are “small and medium enterprises” and “personal consumers” who have their own intellectual property and seeking for assistances to proceed patent registration conveniently. Therefore, the positioning of Patent-To-You is driven by “Convenience and Affordable”. The marketing tools are specified in accordance with the customer needs and expectations. From the operation feasibility study, the service level and staff quantities are determined corresponding to the demand size over the five-year project. Additionally, the plan of quality management and supply chain management are conducted thoroughly. From the financial feasibility results, “Patent-To-You” service will require a capital budget baht 1,337,000 from equity and debt, and 5-year project results NPV of baht 4,238,675, IRR of 82% and the payback period of 1 year and 8 months.
