The purpose of this study was to examine 3 dimensions of the Fortune Telling perception according to Fact, Fiction and Fantasy and to examine the addictive behavior and the impact of Fortune Telling addiction. This research was using the embedded design methodology. Quantitative data were collected through questionnaires and Qualitative data were collected through in-depth interview to examine the perception, the view of Fortune Telling and developed questionnaires base on the result of Barnum Effect’s by collecting 385 questionnaires and use the Simple Random Sampling. Also considered on the number of Fortune Teller, reputation, location of sanctity, transportation and period of Fortune Telling. Main location of this study are 1. Tha Pra Chan 2. Wang Lang 3. Huai Kwang Intersection 4. Maha Bodhi Temple 5. The Astrology of Thailand and 6. The International Astrological Association. To searching for the representative sample who got addicted from Fortune Telling according to the criteria of Griffith's Component Model. By focusing in various dimension of the samples from field survey method and the primary data from relevant research. The study found that Fortune Telling believe the Fortune is reliable because they use statistical method to collecting the information (Fact) and the number is 82.3%. 73.2% of this study believe that the Fortune is a science that use to predicting the future (Fantasy). 3.9% from the questionnaire got addicted by Fortune. The result from in-depth interview show that the sample who got addicted by Fortune are characterized by the Griffith's Component Model in every levels. In terms of the impact of addictions in the positive side is they believe that the Fortune is their reliance mental and emotional anchor and help suffering reduced. They know that the Fortune Teller as a consultant. And another negative side of the addiction are lack of self-confident, dare to make a decision when problem arise, the change of mood, obsessed with Fortune all the time making their everyday life to became a people who only waiting and living according to fate
