The purpose of this special project is to create a business plan for “Solitaire” leather care products of Bambino Co., Ltd. by studying and analyzing internal factors from the company background and external factors which are macro environment, five-force analysis, competitors’ analysis and customers’ analysis. All internal and external factors can be summarized into strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. This industry is still able to grow due to the higher demand of leather products from external supporting factors including the low level of competition within the current industry. In addition, the survey results show that there are many people out there who do not know how to look after their leather products properly. If the company plans and drives strategies appropriately, the company would be able to gain a competitive edge over the competition.
Thus, the marketing strategies are planned by specifying target markets and setting positioning for “Solitaire” brand, including Marketing strategies – brand strategy, product strategy, price strategy, channel strategy and integrated communication marketing strategy to aim at the target customers. Moreover, operation strategies are the keys to effective resource management to be able to serve the forecast demand and to minimize total cost of sales. All planned strategies are formulated and reflected to the forecast financial statement to study the feasibility of the business. It was found that if these all strategies are achieved, the company will be able to generate the average return on equity of 21% and the net present value of discounted cash flow is 32.32 million Thai Baht. Therefore, it can then be concluded that the business plan is feasible and able to create sustainability to the company in the future.
