SUMMARY
The Vietnamese economy has been recently considered among the fastest growing in the ASEAN. Vietnam has enjoyed a certain degree of economic stability in recent years with vast potential for future development. There is an increasing the middle class in Vietnam who are becoming interested in living healthier which has resulted in growth of consumer health. Vietnamese healthy beverage sector is among the functional beverage markets with clear opportunities occurring.
Consequently, a large Thai Pharma Manufacturer realized its potential in this newly emerging market for their new type of supplement product in drinkable formats. The company assigned the author to initial research and appropriate strategies for export planning. The main objective of this study is to assist the Pharma Chemicals Company in answering whether Vietnam should be added to company’s internationalize strategies.
To achieve this goal, the author focused on studying the market potential for healthy drinks and examined the issues related to the distribution and pricing formulation of Abalone health beverages, a product of the Pharma Chemicals Company, together with additional information about main source of information and consumer attitudes that forms background to these purchasing behavioral factors. From comprehensive study, a marketing plan, operational plan and financial plan has been formulated
Finally, the study shows that the business is feasible in Vietnam. Based on the finding, it is strongly advise the foreign investors to invest in Vietnam. It can generate an attractive profit, and bright business future for the company.
