The objective of this independent study is to understand the opportunities and the feasibility to establish a mobile application for finding parking space business. The study is based on the secondary data from trustworthy resources and primary data from the questionnaire answer by target customers and interviews with entrepreneurs. Feasibility in market aspect, the result from study consumers behaviors and needs shows that at present most of consumers who use personal cars for personal trips having trouble in finding parking space and there is no product/service to help resolve this issue for consumers. Moreover, target consumers are interested in using application for finding parking space.
Feasibility in operation aspect, required resources use for business operation are employees with expertise in information technology and computer used in the development of a software application which can be in the market without restrictions on access. Thus, it can be concluded that there is the possibility of an operation to investment in application for finding a parking space. Feasibility in financial aspect, the result from forecasting 5 years financial statement and evaluation of return on investment through a calculated payback perio, net present value (NPV) and internal rate of return for the project (IRR) shows that returns on investment are in the proper value for the investment.
