แนวทางการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงศิลปะของหอศิลป์เพื่อเป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวในกรุงเทพมหานคร / ฐิตินันท์ เตชไกรชนะ = Guidelines for promoting the art galleries as tourism attraction in Bangkok metropolis / Thitinun Taechakraichana
The purposes of this study were to find ways to promote tourism to the city's art galleries by studying the relationship between personal information, factors promoting art tourism and travel behavior of tourists. Information were obtained from 400 art gallery visitors in 8 art galleries including 1) Bangkok art and culture center, 2) Art center Silpakorn University, 3) The national Gallery, 4) Jamjuree Art Gallery, 5) Vajiravudh Collage Art Gallery, 6) Poh Chang Art Gallery, 7) National museum Silpa Bhirasri Memorial and 8) Suan Dusit Art Gallery. The questionnaire and interview were tools to collect data. The statistics used in data analysis were the average, percentage and standard deviation. This study analyzed the relationships by using multiple linear regression model with statistical significant at level 0.05. The results were as follow: The relationship between personal information consist of gender, age and occupation showed no significant level in the travel behavior while the relationship between the three areas consisted of tourism promotion factor, personal factor and education and activity factor showed significance in the travel behavior. The promoting individual factor were at a high level (X̅ = 3.92 ) while the educational services and activity factor (X̅ = 3.67 ) and the publishing and public relation factor were at the moderate level (X̅ = 3.43). The interest of the travel behavior were at high level (41.8%). The guidelines for the promotion of tourism consisted of 1) Improvement of human skill to increase knowledge and awareness of the staff and the exchange of ideas in the agency's galleries. 2) Education service and activity support to encourage students to develop skills and knowledge as well as funding support and research in the arts. 3) Promotion and public relations through the concerned network among private and public galleries by information technology. 4) Policies and services monitoring, maintenance of the art pieces, the administrator’s proactive policy to increase the proportion of the visitor and raising fund other than budget from the government.
