The purposes of this predictive correlational research were to study health-promoting lifestyle and to examine the predictability of predicting factors; history of alcohol drinking, perceived benefit, perceived barriers, perceived self-efficacy, parents influence, and peers influence among male vocational students. Four hundred and forty male vocational students aged 15-19 years old, were selected by multi-stage random sampling. The instruments used for data collection were the demographic data, health-promoting lifestyle questionnaire, perceived benefit, perceived barriers, perceived self-efficacy, parents influence, and peers influence. All questionnaires were tested for content validities by a panel of experts, and the reliabilities were .83, .95, .96, .92, .91, and .88, respectively. Descriptive statistic, Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient and hierarchical multiple regression were used to analyze data. The results revealed : The mean score of health - promoting lifestyle among male vocational students was at a moderate level (X bar = 157.99, SD = 18.49). Perceived self-efficacy, perceived benefit, parents influence, peers influence, history of alcohol drinking, and perceived barriers, were predictors for health- promoting lifestyle. Variables accounted for 22.3% of total variance in health - promoting lifestyle. The equation derived from the standardized score was: (Due to the limit of system, equation can't display correctly.
