To investigate health behaviors, the relationship among predisposing factors, enabling factors and reinforcing factors, and predicting health behaviors outcome of professional nurses. Subjects (396 professional nurses) were selected by probability sampling and simple random sampling methods. The instrument used for this study was constructed based on 10 National Health Principles and PRECEDE-PROCEED Model. The instrument was reviewed and approved by panel of experts and tested for content validity with acceptable reliability with Cronbrach’s alpha at .907. Data were analyzed for mean, percentile, standard deviation, Pearson product’s moment correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis. Major results of this study were as follows: 1. Mean score of physical health behaviors(X-bar = 3.13, S.D. = 6.75), mental health behaviors (X-bar = 2.50, S.D. = 3.80), social health behaviors (X-bar = 2.64, S.D. = 4.26) and spiritual health behaviors (X-bar = 2.62, S.D. = 4.34) of professional nurses under Medical Service Department, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration were at a good level. 2. Predisposing factors namely revenue, enabling factors in training of physical activity and reinforcing factors in peer group activities had significant at .05 relating to four aspects of health behaviors : predisposing factors, enabling factors, reinforcing factors significantly predict total health behaviors at p<.05 levels for 9.60 percent (R² = .096). The development of nurse’s health behaviors, reinforcing factors of peer group and personal health care model, enabling factors in workplace environment were conducive to health promotion.
