This research was a descriptive research aimed to 1) study the current and ideal characteristics of integrative leadership for administrators in private higher education institutions 2) study current and ideal models of leadership development for administrators of private higher education institutions 3) develop integrative leadership development models for administrators in private higher education institutions. The populations were faculty members and administrators in private higher education institutions categorized as universities under Office of the Higher Education Commission. The summary of the research were as follows: 1. The administrators of private higher education institutions had high level of the characteristics of integrative leadership and had highest level of the ideal characteristics of integrative leadership. The Priority Needs Index [subscript modified]: PNI [subscript modified] resulted at 31.12 percent. 2. It was found that the current situation of leadership development model for administrators in private higher education institutions had moderate level of breakthrough training, change education, building change strategy, conscious process design, and conscious process facilitation. The ideal leadership development model was founded to had breakthrough training, change education, building change strategy, conscious process design, and conscious process facilitation in high level. The administrators in private higher education institutions needed leadership development by breakthrough training method the most at 47.84 percent. 3. The integrative leadership development model for administrators in private higher education institutions, Breakthrough Training Model for Integrative Leadership Development (BTMILD), emphasizing mindset, and experiential, and self management for personal transformation. The integrative leadership development model for administrators in private higher education institutions was assessed as high level of suitability and possibility.
