Hearing impaired Students can use Hearing Aids, to study by oral method. RF transceiver device makes the hearing efficiency better, and it can be connected to the hearing aid. However, the imported transceiver device is expensive. The thesis is to develop a digital wireless system prototype for Hearing Impaired Person. It was desigened to meet the specifications of the commercial RF transceiver device. Moreover, it was designed to be cheaper than the imported model. The wireless transmission system is digitally encoded and broadcasted at 2.4 GHz, so that it can be easily transformed, and this also improved the quality of the wireless signaling. The tests result show that The Digital Wireless System prototype developed can work up 10 meter range, and the quality of sound is not different from the one at the source. Moreover, compared to the commercial RF transceiver device which is used in schools at 5 meter range developed prototype performance is not statistically different. The developed prototype also has lower power consumption.
