The study aims to study the possibility of an investment in a homemade ice cream shop at Srinakharinwirot University (Prasarnmitr). In this study, the primary data were collected by using questionnaires of 100 samples in order to investigate their demand and from a direct interview with an entrepreneur who operates a homemade ice cream shop. The feasibility study focuses on three aspects: marketing, operation and finance. From the marketing feasibility study, the result shows that there is a high demand for homemade ice cream. The primary targets are students of SWU who need a place to meet after school. However this target group is very sensitive to the price. Therefore, to open a Ice Cream shop in University the price is another important factor besides the taste of ice cream. There are a few competitors in the area of university, therefore, the homemade ice cream market has potentiality to grow. In the part of operation, the location of Lan Len Loh in front of the faculty of Social Sciences is appropriate because it provides access to the target group. Not only the shop sells homemade ice cream, but also create and produce new flavors. . This ice cream shop will sell a new flavor each month as the "Flavor of Month". Because of the small size of business, management is more flexible. There are employ only two employees that makes it easy to control costs. The study of the financial feasibility shows that the initial investment in this project is 1,200,000 baht from the owners’ equity. At the cost of the capital project of 15%, the payback period is 3.23 years and the net present value is 2,029,374.41 baht with an internal rate of return of 43.90%. In summary, the analysis of project in the areas of marketing, operations and finances found that this project is feasible to invest.
