The main objectives of this independent study are to study external and internal environment of pump industry for making strategic business plan for W company; the pumps manufacturer and distributer from Germany. From the research founded that pump industry in field of building service segment is on a growth stage with many competitors situation. There are three competitive factors which are technology, pricing and services. W Company has started its business of providing high-performance pump technology in Thailand since year 2008 and has established the W representative office on year 2011 to improve business operations and plans to convert to a Subsidiary in the future. From environmental factors and competitive factors founded that pump’s industrial trends in the next 4 years are suitable for providing business for example, Government policy about first houses’ project and recovering economic conditions. By the potential of product and technology, the representative office is ready to run business but it need to promote investment in marketing promotions, distribution channels and after-sales service to improve competitive potential to makes it a sustainable profitable.
