This objective of this study is to act as the feasibility study for business opportunities in the area of electrical energy conservation and management consultancy. The target group of clients in this study includes offices, building tenants and factories. It also aims at exploring the factors that affects the interests and needs of the clients in implementing an energy conservation and management system into their existing facilities. The study was carried out by giving strategic suggestions to the Electrical Energy Solution Providers Co. Ltd. (ESP), an energy conservation consultancy, on electrical energy conservation schemes, how to lower investment costs all the way to introducing and selling of computerized packages relevant to energy conservation and other industrial products such as power meter and other energy conservation goods. ESP’s strategic marketing plan focuses on variety of products and its applications as well as reaching out to specific potential clients. The product line offered, tools and appliances designed for electrical energy conservation and management is relatively new to the Thai context thus the target group of clients still lack clear understanding of what our product does. Therefore, the marketing scheme puts emphasis on the direct sales method and supports it with other advertisement means. Some of the advertisement means used are such as through the Education Channel of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering under the umbrella of the public university. This not only introduces the product into the market but also allows future users to have hands-on experience and test use the products which in turn, creates preference for future users. The company aims at being the leader in this business field and become the most efficient provider in Thailand within the next 5 years. It hopes to gain most of the market shares in electrical energy conservation and management software and industrial products (power meters and tools) in the country. At the same time, the company sets out to provide efficient services in response to clients’ needs to create sustainability in the satisfaction level of the clients. This is to be done through continuous quality development and efficient services. ESP has three channels of income including the income from software sales, income from power meters and other tools an income from their consultancy services.
