The online community of bit torrent website is also known as P2P network where the members share their file via .torrent format. This file sharing by uploading and downloading is seen as a new ideology of technology in which the sharers learn to change their behavior of using the internet from "learn to take" to "learn to give" since the file sharing network allow the user to give the file to the members easily. This research aims to find (1) the patterns of the interactions shown via the functions of using the bit torrent website (2) to study the relation of time spending as a user and the way members change their interactions toward other members and website functions (3) to study background ideology attached to the using of the functions of the website that tend to change the users in what ways. It is found that all 5 functions of the bit torrent website show 2 patterns of interactions which are the interaction to live together in the online community and the interaction that shows giving and taking. Time spending is not related to how users choose the way to communicate to others member. However, the users change their way to communicate through the website from "downloading from others" to "uploading to others". Not only ideology about "give and take" found via the using of the functions, but also other ideologies about living together in the society are displayed through the 5 functions.
