การเปรียบเทียบการฝึกพลังกล้ามเนื้อแบบเอ็คเซ็นตริกและการฝึกเด็พธ์จัมพ์ที่มีต่อสมรรถภาพของกล้ามเนื้อขาในนักกีฬาวอลเลย์บอลชาย / กัมปนาท ประดิษฐ์เสรี = A comparison between eccentric power and depth jump trainings on leg muscular fitness in male volleyball players / Kampanast Paditsaeree
The purpose of this research was to compare between eccentric power and depth jump trainings on important leg muscular characters in male volleyball players of the Chulalongkorn University students studying in the academic year 2009. Twenty volleyball players were purposively selected and were trained to develop basic strength for 4 weeks. The subjects were randomly assigned into two groups of ten volleyball players, eccentric power training group and depth jump training group. Both groups were trained two days a week for a period of six weeks. The data of relative strength, explosive power, acceleration ability and agility were taken before and after the experiment. The obtained data were analyzed in terms of means and standard deviations. The t-test was also employed to determine the significant differences of data obtained before and after the experiment. After six weeks, the results were shown as follows: 1. There were no significant differences in explosive power, acceleration ability and agility between the eccentric power training group (the first group) and the depth jump training group (the second group); however, relative strength in the first group was significantly greater (p<0.05) than that of the second group. 2. Relative strength of the eccentric power training group after the experiment was significantly greater (p<0.05) than the relative strength of the eccentric power training group before the experiment, while explosive power, acceleration ability and agility in both groups were improved after the experiment. Conclusion : The eccentric power training within 6 weeks could increase all of leg muscular fitness of male volleyball players.
