Abstract The research purposes are (1) To analyze the economic characteristic activities and Thai worker conditions in Malaysia as personal income, living conditions and the quantity of sending money back home. (2) To survey the satisfaction and the need for Thai workers in Malaysia. (3) To assess the quality of life index of Thai workers on health condition, living condition, convenience, sufficient income and environment working stability. (4) To analyze the problems and the needs for Thai workers in Malaysia by studying various documents as statistical data of Thai labor office in Malaysia and to study Thai worker behaviors and opinions on work and quality of life from household group, constructional group, agricultural group, production industry and servicing businesses. The total of 417 samples were consisted of In-depth interview of Key informants such as Thai worker officers in Malaysia. Data were analyzed by ANOVA and Regression Analysis. The economic value of work by NPV. The life quality analysis was by WHO handbook for the suggestion of the allocation of the laboring market development in order to support government sectors and private organizations. It was uncovered that the desirable professions in Malaysia are in servicing sectors as cooks in the restaurants and as massagers in Thai massage services. The others are construction workers in international corporations under the government contract and as independent workers in production industries for better wages because of no commission fee. The correlation coefficient of the income and commission at 0.05 level. It reflects economics worth for working in Malaysia especially the servicing sector gives the most benefit in economic return. Thai labor market in Malaysia has been in demand especially in restaurant businesses but the quality of life is rather in moderate condition and legal workers are in better shape than illegal ones. In order to build up Thai worker market in Malaysia as Malaysia model, the Thai worker development is needed in these areas as basic knowledge, international language, information technology professional skills, international working fund and road shows.
