การบำบัดน้ำผิวดินให้เป็นน้ำดื่มด้วยเมมเบรนพอลิซัลโฟน / ยุวดี วงศ์ศิริ = Surface water treatment for drinking water by polysulfone membrane / Yuwadee Wongsiri
Polysulfone membranes and modified polysulfone were prepared and characterized for surface water purification as drinking water. The polysulfone membranes with asymmetric structure could be prepared successfully. By partial evaporation in vacuum oven, the finger like structure was obtained. By partial evaporation in hot air oven, either finger like structure or sponge like structure was obtained. The increase of evaporation time from 3 to 60 min or the decrease of coagulation temperature from 20 to 4 °c provided denser membrane. The addition of cationic or anionic surfactants changed the membrane morphology from finger like to sponge like structure. The appropriate membranes were 10% polysulfone membrane, partial evaporation in hot air oven for 15-60 min and coagulation at 20 °c. The flux of these membranes were 2.67±0.48 l/m2/min and the rejection of coliform and COD are 100% and 83.72±5.91%, respectively.
