The purposes of this research were to study image and context of crime victims in snatcher’s perception, that how they made decision to choose their crime victims. This is a field research that studied from documents and used qualitative methodology together with techniques of in-depth interviewing, non-participative observation and taking field note with voice, manner and expression recording for analysis, in collecting data from 10 prisoners in the Bangkok Remand Prison who confessed in snatching their crime victims’ property. Then used descriptive analysis to analyze the received data. The finding revealed that image and context of crime victims in snatchers’ perceptions are; 1. Snatchers decided from a female physical aspect. 2. Snatchers decided from other context and conditions such as no crowded area, crime victims belonging assets, for example female handbag and snatchers had co-worker and vehicles by did not concern about the period of time. However, if they could, he had chosen the time between 21:00-24:00 pm. 3. Snatchers did not care about the criminal law and the punitive consequent. Recommendations for this research are; it should have public distribution about restriction and elimination measures for women risking to be snatching victims; It should pay attention to improve some physical environments to reduce chances in snatching; finally, it should notify the penalty provision of law against snatching to society.
