The purposes of this research were to study specialists' viewpoints on teaching art history on critical thinking consists of 1. Teching Objective 2. Content cover 3. Teching Method and 4. Evaluation in visual art programs of the public higher education institutions. The research consists of the high level of eight specialists sampling and the third times of surveying-questionnaire which the method of Delphi Technique : presented the median of data, the gap between mode and median and the inter quartile range. The specialists' viewpoints on teaching art history on critical thinking indicate the consequence of this research follow as : 1. Teaching Objective : to desire the student combines any relative knowledge in order to analyze and conclude the data of art history on intregate. 2. Content cover : 1. History and art work are especial including in pattern, element and structure. 2. The other factors influence on the art work is culture which is the first priority to consider. 3. The important of art historywith the other knowledge. 3. Teaching Method : 1. The observation method and the created question or problem as principle and reason from the real work. 2. The consideration method in the art history trust worthy matters from research. 3. The analysis method on art history data and content figure such as element, structure, pattem, technique ; to analyze the content such as viewpoint, principle of trust. 4. More over the teaching method advised the conclusion method of content or problem relation as principle and reason that refer to causes or influences to reach the art work. 4. Evaluation : 1. The created question or problem ability. 2. The conclusion of relation as principle and reason.
