การนำเสนอรูปแบบศูนย์การเรียนในโรงพยาบาลสำหรับเด็กเจ็บป่วย / ธนพล อเนกสิทธิสิน = A proposed model of learning center in hospital for ailing children / Thanaphon Aneksittisin
The purposes of this research were 1) to study the state, problems and needs of students, teachers and staffs concerning learning center in hospitals for the ailing children. 2) to study experts' opinions concerning a learning center model in hospitals for ailing children, and 3) to propose a learning center model in hospitals for ailing children. The samples comprised of 15 ailing students, five teachers and five official staffs from five hospitals and 20 experts. The data were collected by structured interview and three-round Delphi technique questionnaires. The percentage, median and interquartile range were used to analyze the data. The results were as follows : 1. Most students, teachers and official staffs informed that a learning center provided activities based on curriculum ; provided art activities, computer-assisted instruction, computer games and VCD. Most media available were text books and exercises, microcomputers, and television monitors. The arrangement of all media was based on size of the room but there was no systematic management in each room. Activities were set up depend on the competence and expertise of each teacher. The most needed medium was computer. 2. The 140 statements from 185 statements of specialists final consensus were considered for the model of learning center in hospitals. 3. The model consisted of 1) the activities for ailing children : based on numbers and readiness of children, their knowledge and skills, educational level and should include physical and emotional activities. 2) The group activities : follow the learning center format, teaching computer and additional activities in art, games, tales, VCD, handicraft and music ; cooperative activities for different students are suggested, 3) The individual activities : learning with computer and additional activities in art, leisure games and exercise, 4) The media : include printed media: text books and exercises, newspapers, cartoons and youth magazines; computer media ; computer games with 45 minute use, computer software : MS-word, intelligent practice program; VCD : documentary, cartoon, humorous, adventure and song ; and cassette tapes, 5) The arrangement of the learning center : design according to the room size, activity area available using movable tables and chairs, provide individual study area and separate area for computer media and learning corners.
