อุณหภูมิน้ำเย็นจ่ายและแตกต่างที่เหมาะสมสำหรับระบบปรับอากาศ / ศิษฐ์ภัณฑ์ แคนลา = Optimum chilled water supply temperature and temperature difference for air conditioning system / Sitphan Kanla
In the design of chilled water supply system for central air conditioning system, most engineer usually designs the chilled water supply temperature (CWST) at 45 ℉ and temperature difference (TD) at 10 ℉. Alteration of these design values have an impact on the life cycle cost of the system (LCC). The objective of this research is to find the optimum value of these variables to achieve a minimum value of LCC. In this study, a model of direct return chilled water supply system was used in the simulation. It consists of 4 units of 450 tons water-cooled centrifugal liquid chillers, 4 units of centrifugal chilled water pumps, 20 and 6 units of 66 Ton and 80 Ton air handing units respectively. Result of the study show that the optimum value of CWST and TD that give the minimum LCC is 46 ℉ and 16 ℉, respectively. The effect of changing CWST and TD on LCC in general was also studied. It was found that the design values of CWST and TD should be in the range of 45 to 47 ℉and 10 to 16 ℉, respectively.
