The purpose of this research was to study the preschool children's social behaviors on environmental behaviors, interpersonal behaviors, self-related behaviors and task-related behaviors in kindergarten using Montessori method. The subjects were 5-6 year-old pupils from Kornkaew kindergarten. The instruments were anecdotal record, social behaviors observation and summary form social behaviors. The research findings were as follows: 1. Environmental bahaviors the children's social behavior were mostly to care for the environment, lunchroom behavior and movement around environment. 2. Interpersonal behaviors the children's social behavior were mostly to make conversation, greeting others, organized play, helping others, playing informally and gaining attention. 3. Self-related behaviors the children's social behavior were mostly to responsible behavior and self-care. 4. Task-related behaviors the children's social behavior were mostly to asking and answering questions, attending behavior, classroom discussions, completing tasks, following direction, on-task behavior and quality of work.
