Bowbae has played the important role in the garment industry in Thailand. The nature of the garment businesses in this area require the huge amount of human intensive due to the fact that the salesmanship, delivery to retail customers, and packing, which are impossibly replaced by non-human. This study aims to identify the living conditions of the worker lives in the aspects of physical, social, and economic sides so that these can lead to the methods of how to develop these workers' lives in the future. This study is carried out by means surveys and observation of the geographical as well as conducting the interviews with the workers. From the above studies, it can be concluded that most of workers are permanent workers. Their working lives are between 1-3 years. Half of them earn the wages between Thb.3,671 - 7,600 and no extra income earnings. The living styles of the workers can be classified into 3 criteria: (i) living with employers - problem mostly confronted is rooms staying are too small; (ii) living with other friend workers - 3-4 people staying together in a room and that costs Thb.1,000 - 2,000 per 3-room staying; and (iii) living at own dwelling for the family means. In the third living criteria, it is found out that there are numbers of problems born by the workers due to (1) living areas are not hygiene (2) far from working place (3) far from common facilities. Moreover, all workers want to stay where is near their working places because they can save transportation costs. The garment businesses at Bowbae community need high numbers of workers because they are labor-intensive work. Thus, the arrangement of the accommodation for the workers is very crucial. They want to stay the places near the working areas, afford to pay Thb.2,000 per person, and dislike to stay in a room accommodating more than 4 people. Therefore, the enhancement of work can be done through providing the accommodation for the workers, which is the essential condition in their working lives. Moreover, the governmental sector should have the policy in this area.
