To construct the process oriented criterion-referenced test of basic crawl stroke swimming skill for lower secondary school students and to evaluate the validity, reliability, and objectivity of the test. The samples of this research were 100 students of Surasakmontri School through using the simple and purposive random sampling techniques. The instrument was the process oriented criterion-referenced test of basic crawl stroke swimming skill. The instruments were constructed by the researcher. The validity, reliability and objectivity were evaluated. The data obtained were analyzed to find content validity, validity of instructional sensitivity, concurrent validity, cut off score, standard error of measurement, the reliability of mastery classification and objectivity. The results of the study were as follows: 1. The content validity index in the skill of the process oriented criterion-referenced test of basic crawl stroke swimming skill for lower secondary school students as referred was .97 2. The mean of validity of instructional sensitivity both before and after learning of basic crawl stroke swimming skill test were significantly different at .01 level 3. The correlation coefficients of the concurrent validity of basic crawl storke swimming skill test as referred was .96 and statistically significant at .01 level 4. The cut off score of basic crawl stroke swimming skill test as referred was 4 5. The standard error of measurement of the test was +-0.12 6. The Kappa coefficients of basic crawl stroke swimming skill test as referenced was .82 7. In evaluating the objectivity; 7.1 The evaluating of five physical education teachers was not significantly at .05 level 7.2 The correlation coefficients of the evaluation of each teacher and average evaluation of five physical education teachers were .95 and .99 and statistically significant at .01 level.
