To 1) develop cognitive tool to use as an data search support 2) study the effects of cognitive tool, prior knowledge and metacognition upon data search success on World Wide Web of graduate students. The samples were 60 graduate students of Education, Rajabhat Institute Nakornsawan. They were stratified into two groups : high and low prior knowledge and then were random assignment into four groups. The two experimental groups used cognitive tool as a tool to support data searching. The collected data consisted of scores from data searching success. The statistic used was two-way ANOVA. The results of the research were as follows 1. There was significant difference between use and not use cognitive tool upon data search success of graduate students on World Wide Web. 2. There was significant difference between high and low prior knowledge upon data search success of graduate students on World Wide Web. 3. There was significant interaction between the use of cognitive tool and prior knowledge upon information search success of graduate students on World Wide Web.
