The purpose of this research is to study the mate selection method, mate selection values, and change in mate selection method in the past and at present of Thai Muslim males in Mahanak mosque community at Pomprab-Sattrupai district, Bangkok by the methods of Document research, Anthropological fieldwork, ten Key informants interview, and 100 sets of survey comprising of 50 single male aging between 17-35 and 50 married male aging between 35-70. The research has found that most Thai Muslim males themselves select their mates by weighting on female who has the same specifications, such as religion, age, educational status and taste. In general, there is no obvious change for mate selection at present and in the past. Nowadays it is likely that Thai Muslim male who will select mate pay attention to their loves, closeness and good looking of their mate-which are different from the past. The most obvious change from the past is the role and influence of elder relatives has been gradually reduced.
