SUMMARY

This publication is the outcome of the project, National Policies and Measures for Growing Micro and Small Enterprises in LDCs, funded by the Government of the Netherlands. Matfobhi Riba directed the project and prepared the synthesis study and edited the country case studies under the overall direction of Lorraine Ruffing. The country studies were compiled based on papers written by national consultants: Salif Ou้drago (Burkina Faso), Bishwamber Pyakuryal (Nepal), Joseph Stanley (Samoa) and Bartholomew Kazilimani (Zambia). Stephen Phillips prepared the Benchmark Study and the Framework for Analysis that underpinned the country reviews. Rosalina Goyena assisted with the production of the publication and Diego Oyarzun-Reyes designed the cover. [English only]
