Summary: The meeting confirmed the objective shared by the three countries, namely to increase the efficiency of transit traffic in North-East Asia through harmonization, simplification and standards of basic rules and procedures. Although the detailed aspects of the TTFA are still being negotiated, the final agreement is expected to embrace all modes of transport. The TTFA will not affect the rights and obligations of the Contracting Parties arising from other international Conventions or agreements to which they are parties
