Abstract: This publication contains a guideline on national requirements for the qualification of professional accountants, including a detailed model curriculum which the Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting (ISAR) adopted at the end of its sixteenth session, held in Geneva, 17 - 19 February 1999. This guideline was adopted for the benefit of the international community as a whole in order to promote global harmonization of professional qualification requirements. [English only]
