: Abstract: This volume contains the proceedings of the fifteenth session of the Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting (ISAR) held from13 to 15 February 1998 in Geneva,.the main objective of which was to assess recent developments in the area of environmental accounting and to provide new guidance on accounting and financial reporting on environmental costs and liabilities at the corporate level. This volume contains a guideline adopted by ISAR experts and two background papers.
