SUMMARY

Summary: The report analyses trade flows and trade policies of CIS countries after the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the progress achieved in their integration into the international trading system. In Part I, emphasis is placed on trade amongst CIS countries themselves, with the rest of the world, and in particular with developing countries. Trade in services is also examined. Part II deals with problems of accession to the WTO, as well as with bilateral trade agreements and trade relations with the EU and the United States. [English/Russian]
