ความคิดเห็นของผู้ปฏิบัติงานโรงพยาบาลต่อการดำเนินงานโรงพยาบาลชุมชน ปี 2543 / รังษี เจริญวงศ์ระยับ = Opinion of health personnel towards activities in community hospitals, 2000 / Rungsee Chareonvongrayub
The purpose of this descriptive study was to determine the importance and present situation by soliciting the personnel's opinion towards activities in Community Hospitals, particularly in five dimensions : management, resource management, service and standard treatment, quality improvement, results of performance and satisfaction evaluation. The study was conducted during October to December, 2000. The sample consisted of 758 respondents working in 24 randomly selected Community Hospitals. One-Way ANOVA and t-test were used for statistical analyses. The results revealed that health personnel were more female than male (8.4 : 1). The mean age was 32.83 years. Average period of work was 7.92 years. Majority of them were working as registered nurse position (79.4%) at position level 6-8 (52.6%). Further analyses found that all items of important and present situation had highly statistically significant difference (p-value <0.001). Overall perception of importance towards specified activities in Community Hospital and dimension of quality improvement were statistically significantly different (p-value <0.05) by hospital size. In terms of present situation, the dimension of management, resource management, service and standard treatment and quality improvement were statistically significantly different (p-value<0.05) by hospital size. Furthermore, the results showed that perceived importance towards specified activities in Community Hospital and present situation were not significantly different by professions of health personnel. These findings indicated that the efficiency of Community Hospital should be improved through increasing community participation and morale of health personnel, approaching TQM and surveying community's problem.
