The purpose of this research was to study and analyze educational practices in accordance with the existentialism philosophy by means of document analysis technique in six topics : educational objectives, curriculum, teacher's role, learner's role, learning and instruction process, and evaluation. It was found that educational objectives in accordance with the Existentialism philosophy focuses on learner development, i.e. self-discovering, self-knowing, self-control and self-development. Regarding the curriculum the focus is on humanities, liberal arts, the value of knowledge for the existence of human beings and fight for their lives and freedom. A learner has freedom in making decisions according to his/her interest and aptitude responding to his/her needs. Regarding the teacher's role, the focus is on stimulating learner to find and develop by himself or herself and to have freedom and responsibility for the decision made, well-meaning friend, domocracy and capability in teaching. Regarding the learner's role the emphasis is on a learner being a selector who searches for knowledge according to his/her interest, who is responsible for the decision made, who has self-conficence, self-control, thinking, and dare to face any problem in a real situation. Regarding the learning and instruction process, the focus is on activities that stimulate a learner self-discovering, to develop by himself or herself completely and respond to his/her needs. In addition, those activities should allow for the learner's freedom in making decisions and for them to be responsible for the decisions made. Besides, they should put an emphasis on real life learning and learning of what concerns the learner most to least. Regarding the evaluation, the focus is on the development of a learner, taking into consideration how much he or she can apply what learnt to his or her daily life. Observation of the learner's behavior in confidently giving opinions and of being himself or herself are also emphasized.
