The objectives of this research are to develop a local curriculum on silver handicraft Praguam Ngoen in Bann Sado community in Surin Province by : 1) To develop the content from local wisdom based on the working process of the Silver handicraft Praguam Ngoen ; 2) To design the instructional process by integrating content and working process according to the actual community learning process. The curriculum development process are as follows : 1) The field study research to collect data on the living and culture of the villagers, and to engage in the silver handicraft making. 2) The development of local curriculum by inserting the data obtained from the first step of research into the curriculum structure of the National Curriculum B.E. 2521, in the Work Oriented Experiences, Occupation Branch 3. 3) The implementation of the local curriculum. Findings : 1. The research study revealed that the way of living, culture and the working process of Praguam Ngoen in the cylinder shape was related to the belief, tradition, and native ceremonial which has been descended from the ancestor as shown in the worshipping cerremony for silver Praguam Ngoen craftsman and Saen-Snop Ceremony. The process for producing the silver Praguam Ngoen are as follows: 1) Preparation of silver Praguam Ngoen soldering flux ; 2) Preparation of mixed resin ; 3) Melting and pressing of silver granule ; 4) Measure, cut and fold of silver sheet; 5) Welding of silver tube; 6) Rising up the Praguam Ngoen into cylinder shape ; 7) Connecting the silver hook, decorating the rim of Praguam Ngoen ; 8) Resin casting of Praguam Ngoen ; 9) Sculpture of Praguam Ngoen ; 10) Making hold and whiting polishing of Praguam Ngoen ; 11) Black dying of Praguam Ngoen. 2. The average learning achievement scores of the Prathom Suksa six students were above the criteria scores stipulated at 60% of the total scores of 100. In addition, subject achievement after studying was higher than the criteria of assessment at the .01 level of significance. 3. The average working behavioral scores derived from the behavioral observation on the Praguam Ngoen working process of the students were above the criteria scores stipulated at 60% of the total scores of 100. In addition, subject achievement after studying was higher than the criteria of assessment at the .01 level of significance.
