The purposes of this research were 1) to study Thai language reading comprehension ability of mathayom suksa two students taught by reading workshop instruction process. 2) to study attitude toward Thai language reading of mathayom suksa two students taught by reading workshop instruction process. 3) to compare Thai language reading comprehension ability of mathayom suksa two students between groups taught by workshop instruction process and conventional intruction. 4) to compare attitude towards Thai language reading of mathayom suksa two students between groups taught by workshop instruction process and conventional intruction. The samples were mathayom suksa two students at Phrakhanongphittayalai School, Bangkok Metropolis. They were divided into two groups. The first group consisted of 26 students was the experimental group taught by reading workshop instruction process. The second group consisted of 30 students was the controlled group taught by conventional instruction. The researcher taught each group 2 periods a week for 6 weeks. The instruments used in this research were Thai language reading comprehension test and attitude towards Thai language reading test. The data were analyzed by means of arithmetic mean (X), the percentage of arithmetic mean, standard deviation (S.D.) and t-test. The findings were as follows: 1. Mathayom suksa two students taught by reading workshop instruction process had Thai reading comprehension ability at very good level with the percentage of arithmetic mean of 89.15. 2. Mathayom suksa two students taught by reading workshop instruction process had the attitude towards Thai language reading at good level with the arithmetic mean of 3.96. 3. Mathayom suksa two students taught by reading workshop instruction process had Thai reading comprehension ability higher than students taught by conventional instruction at the .05 level of significance. 4. Mathayom suksa two students taught by reading workshop instruction process had attitude towards Thai language reading differently from students taught by conventional instruction.
