The purpose of research is to study "Television Exposure Behavior of Children of Fisheman Family" the both depth-fishery and shallow-fishery and children between 6-12 years old. By the critical Theory of David Morley, the methodologies are non-participate observation and in-depth interview. The studied period is from after school to bedtime. The research found that these children have freedom to select their favorite activity. Almost of them open their television around 1.5-2 hours and play around 1-1.5 hours per day. Their spend the rest of time to do the other activities like have dinner, help their parents do housework, do their homework, reading or take care themselves. Some children use the time to watching television more than playing. On the other hand, some children use the time to playing more than watching television. All of them have the imagination and creativity to play along with nature. Cartoon and drama are the most selective program for them. Their expected program and clearly signal are the reason that channel 3 is the most selection exposure while the other have only their expected program, but do not have clearly signal. And unclear signal is the important factor that can prohibit the flowing of information to them. Children of fisherman family always do some of activities while they are watching television. The most discovered activity is eating some snack. They have both positive and negative reaction with the program. They talk and discuss the program as same as the parents doing, and they imitate the acting from television program. Although the depth-fisherman family have the time to take care the children more than the shallow-fisherman family because they have better income, but all of them did not recommended how to exposure television through their children. One of the important factors should be the education level of their parents.
