The purpose of this research is to look at the difference between organizational culture as it is and as it should be among Thai political parties. The Study applied survey research and collected data from six political parties; Democrat Party, New Aspiration Party, Charthai Party. Chart Pattana Party, Social Action Party and Liberal Democratic Party during 2 November 1998 to 4 August 1999. The content of organization culture has seven difference dimensions ; power distance, uncertainty avoidance, masculinity, individualism, achievement orientation, human orientation and future orientation, The research results of questionnaires show that on one hand organizational culture as it is among Thai political parties are different 5 in 7 dimensions: masculinity, individualism, uncertainty avoidance, power distance, future orientation there are no significant different 4 on human orientation and achievement orientation. On the other hand, organizational culture as it should be among Thai political parties are on difference 4 in 7 dimensions: masculinity, individualism, uncertainly avoidance, power distance. There are no significant difference on human orientation, achievement and future orientation. The researcher recommends that the political parties should realize to roles of organizational culture and should be developed organizational culture (as it is) according to organizational culture (as it should be) in order to become strong institutionalized political parties.
