To study state, problems and needs concerning the use of Internet for instruction of secondary school teachers participating in SchoolNet Thailand. The samples were 286 secondary school teachers who used Internet for instruction. Questionnaires, interview, and observation were used to collect data. The statistics used to analyzed the data were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The findings were as follows: 1. The majority of state of secondary school teachers participating in the SchoolNet Thailand accessed to the Internet service using modem and telephone line to the NECTEC. Most teachers accessed the Internet from school due to the unavailability of the Internet access at their homes. Teachers use WWW service at the most. Supporting budget for the Internet came from parents association. Teachers were trained to use Internet. The schools had policy in supporting the use of Internet for instruction. 2. The most serious problem concerning the use of Internet for instruction of teachers found in the study was the slow speed of the Internet connection. The network system was complicated. The Remote Login service was found to have serious problem. Finally, most the teachers did not find time to use the Internet. 3. The needs of teachers concerning the use of Internet for instruction was the increasing of speed of Internet service. Also, it was found that there was a need to increase budget to support the Internet project in schools
