The purpose of this research were to survey and syntheize the results of environemntal education research in Thailand from the past up to the present, B.E. 2539. The descriptive research was employed. The instruments comprised of recording and coding forms for the data gathered from research abstracts. Data were analyzed through the use of frequency, percentage and content analysis. The results showed that among 370 research findings, most of the research were master's degree theses and survey research. The research issues were classified as follows: (1) Environmental education curriculum. Most of the studies were curriculum development, guidelined and problems of curriculum implementation. (2) Adminsistration and management of policy and organization of environmental education. It was found that administrators and practioners did not pay much attention to environment eduation. (3) Instructional media and innovation development. It was found that most of the developed instructional media were highly efficient. (4) Development of teaching methods in environmental education. Most of the teaching methods developed were more efficient than the lecturing method. (5) State of knowlewdge, attitude and behiavior concerning environment education. Most of the population had moderate to high attitude towards environment. The behavior on environment was moderate to high. The knowledge on environment was between low to moderate. (6) Evaluation of environmental education projects. It was found that most of the environment education projects achieved their objectives. The stakeholders had good attitude towards the projects.
