ผลของโลหะปริมาณน้อยบางชนิดและอีดีทีเอต่อการเจริญของไดโนแฟลกเจลเลต Prorocentrum micans Ehrenberg / เบญจวรรณ ไชยวงศ์ = Effects of some trace metals and edta on growth of dinoflagellate, Prorocentrum micans ehrenberg / Benjawun Chaiyawong
This experiment was carried out on the effects of some trace metals such as zinc manganese, molybdenum, cobolt and copper which organic chelator EDTA on growth of a dinoflagellate, Prorocentrum micans. This species was isolated from the natural sea water collected from Ang-Sila, Chonburi Province and made umalgal culture. The culture was innoculated into enriched water medium called modified T1 and incubated in the sea incubator at control condition in the laboratory. Increase of chelator-metals mole ratio and trace metal concentration did not yield any statistical significant difference growth rate of P. micans over the normal level of modified T1 mediun. When 10 nM selenic acid added to modified T1 medium. It showed not any effect to the growth of was P. micans. From the present experimental results, it can be said that modified T1 medium can enhance growth rate of P. micans and the level of metal and chelator-metals mole ratio seem to be the most suitable.
