The purpose of this research was to study the opinions of Business English instructors and students in the Department of Commerce under the Auspices of the Institute of Technology and Vocational Education concerning Business English instruction in the aspects of curriculum and content, the teaching-learning process, measurement and evaluation, language use and teaching-learning problems. The researcher constructed a questionnaire for 20 Business English instructors and 318 third-year students at the certificate level from 6 colleges. The obtained data were analyzed by means of percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation and presented in tables and description. The results of the study were as follows: 1. The Curriculum and Content: Both instructors and students consistently agreed that the curriculum and content was appropriate at the moderate level. In considering each item, the instructors agreed that the curriculum of Business English encouraged self-study at the low level. 2. The Teaching-learning Process: Both instructors and students consistently agreed that the instructors’ organized teaching-learning activities were at the low level. In considering each item, both instructors and students agreed that the instructors’ methodology was explanation at the high level. Teaching objectives were stated every period at the moderate level. Besides, the utilization of the instructional media of using slides, films and video tapes in the classroom was at the lowest level. 3. Measurement and Evaluation: Both instructors and students consistently agreed that the instructors’ measurement and evaluation were at the moderate level. In considering each item, both instructors and students consistently agreed that the instructors used the multiple choice item tests at the high level. Discussion and reporting, dictation, filling the data by looking at a picture and chart, and evaluating at the end of each period or each month were at the low level. 4. Language Use Both instructors and students consistently agreed that students could use the Business skills at the moderate level. In considering each item, the instructors and students consistently agreed that listening for pleasure and for general knowledge were at the low level. But they could read the English textbooks at the high level. Writing skill such as conference note-taking and memo writing were at the low level. 5. Teaching-learning Problems: Both instructors and students consistently agreed that the teaching-learning problems which occurred from the instructors and the students were at the moderate level. In considering each item, they agreed that problems found in Business English which occurred from the students at the high level were listening and speaking skills.
