ปัญหาและความต้องการสื่อการสอนวิชาชีววิทยา สำหรับหลักสูตรสถาบันส่งเสริมการสอนวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี ในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร / นงลักษณ์ จำปาเทศ = Problems and needs of biological instructional media for the curriculum of the institute for the promotion of teaching science and technology in upper secondary schools in Bangkok Metropolis / Nonglak Champatade
Purpose: The first, to study problems and needs of teachers and students in using instructional media. Secondly, to study the quality and efficiency of instructional media in teaching biology. Procedure: The samples were teachers and students in 36 upper secondary schools in Bangkok Metropolitan. Questionnaires were distributed to 72 teachers and 720 students. The returned questionnaires from two categories were 54 and 574 respectively. The questionnaires were then tabulated and analyzed by means and standard deviations. Findings: 1. Most biological teachers thought that the teacher guide were less in the content, questions, references and techniques in using special media. 2. Most teachers and students thought that the textbooks were not interesting. 3. The problem in using instructional media was lack experimental materials. 4. The students did not often experiment because of failure in the beginning experiment, avoidance in breaking instruments and in convenient to experiment. 5. Most teachers required the teacher guide to provide more facilities in contents, questions, language, explanation and techniques in experiment. 6. Most teachers and students required to improve textbooks to have suitable contents and activities in all four textbooks. 7. The special experimental materials had the quality and efficiency in the fair level. Suggestions: 1. The Institute for Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology should provide a seminar of the problems and needs in teaching and studying biology. 2. The Institute for Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology should improve teacher guide and the biological textbooks in both contents and the activities. 3. The Institute for Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology should design the experimental materials to be better quality and efficiency 4. The Institute for Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology should publish modern informations, discoveries and technological advances monthly. 5. The Institute for Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology should be the center of instructional media service to solve the problems for material-lacked schools.
