The purpose of this research were to examine the knowledge and the satisfaction of pregnant women gained from watching documentary an drama video tape programs on AIDS. The pregnant women who came for antenatal care for the first time at Health Promotion Center Region one participated in the study. Sixty of them were matched pair by age, pregnancy period and educational level. Thirty subjects were randomly assigned to watched documentary video tape program and another thirty watched drama video tape program. A quasi-experimental design was used to determine statistical significance differences of pregnant woman’s knowledge and satisfaction. The data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation and t-test. The findings of the study revealed that: 1.There was no statistical significant difference between pretest and posttest scores of the two groups. 2. The pregnant women highly satisfied with the content of video tape program on AIDS. 3. Women aged 26-30 who watched documentary video tape program highly satisfied with clearity of content than those who watched drama video tape program at the 0.05 level of significance. 4. The pregnant women with Mathayom suksa level highly satisfied with implementation of the content to real lives than those with Prathom suksa level at 0.05 level of significance.
